This fragrance free lotion specially formulates ammonium lactate (equivalent to 12% lactic acid) to provide a lotion pH of 4.0-6.0. Lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid, has beneficial effects on dry, scaly skin and itching associated with this condition. Direction: For best results, apply to dry skin twice a day, or as directed by a doctor. This product contains alpha-hydroxy acid which may increase sensitivity to ultra violet light. It is advisable to use a sunscreen with this product prior to prolonged exposure to sunlight. Used to treat dry itchy or scaly skin condition.
